Black.Friday.

Ok, so here is the story of black friday....

i go to bed around 1 in the morning, wake up around 2 in the morning, meet brittany and patrick and steph at denny's around 3, and wait out at best buy til 6!!

A lot of interesting things happened at best buy. we made a tent thing out of my blanket, and we almost saw a shooting (we think) but the people who were chasing the car just kinda walked away. Oh well, it was still interesting. Brittany got her head lit on fire, just a tiny little bit. Taylor cuts us in line, and almost has to pay the people behind us off. Then, we all rush in fast as we can, and I trip over my purse and go down when I was trying to keep up with Tay.

Next we go to the mall, which is PACKED. but, they had a lot of really good sales. I got quite a few people their christmas presents, but not everybody yet. a

And then lastly we go to target. Nothing really exciting happened there.

But, the traffic was ridiculous! people obviously never should have got their license if they don't understand that, in fact, pulling out in the middle of the lloyd into oncoming traffic, because they want to get the sales, is DANGEROUS. hello! it's not that difficult to think through. Oh well. I'm a very impatient driver and i get irritated easily. maybe it's just me.

but, anyways, that's the story of my black friday. not it's about 5:30 in the pm, and i still haven't got any sleep in like 24 hours, so i'm going to go to bed, but i had an awesome time!

Annabel Lee

Annabel Lee

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

HoRoScOpE...

So, something else I forgot to ever mention about myself is that I an COMPLETELY obsessed with horoscopes. It's pretty often that mine is usually right... kinda freaky, but hey, it's fun...

My sign is Aries, which is kinda cool. Supposedly I'm adventurous, energetic, pioneering, courageous, enthusiastic, confident, quick witted.. and also selfish, quick tempered, impulsive, impatient, foolhardy, and a daredevil.. haha sounds about like me! Oh well, everyone has their good and bad traits. I just think it's kind of interesting :)

I'm making a link on my blog for a daily horoscope if I can find one.. everyone should check this out! it's pretty fun :)

Just scrolllll to the bottom of the page, and find your own sign!

Poem of the Week... #2

She Walks In Beauty... By Lord Byron

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

... what does everyone think? leave me some feedback... would be appreciated :)

Post!

I'm making a post now, because I thought I had that covered, but apparently not, so here is a new one.

Update? I am no longer an employee of Voyles Shopworth. It's really sad but... I think I shall survive.

Also, swim season has started! We have an amazing team this year! and I really think we have a pretty good chance of having a winning season! And I'm especially happy Bird has rejoined the team :)

In more recent updates, I added some links onto my page. They all are links to different authors that I think are particularly talented, and you should check them out! Just browse through, and I think you won't be disappointed.

And lastly, I have decided to start doing a poem of the week! This is my pick for this week...

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

This is one of those poems that say one thing, but if you look deeply enough you can find lots of meanings in them.

So that's it!!!

Happy 2 weeks until Thanksgiving!!!

Blaugh

Well, first off, I would like to talk about how disappointed I am that blogger no longer lets me type in color. ??!!?!?? It's utterly dumb. Next, I would talk about how disappointed I am in myself for not blogging for a while. I haven't had anything to talk about. Now I do :) So let's begin.

Quotes?!

Yeah, we laughed too hard & acted way too immature, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Love will hit. Maybe temporarily, maybe at the wrong time, maybe too late, maybe forever.

Meeting you was fate. Becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you... that was beyond control.

Those nights where you just can't sleep? Maybe you're starring in someone else's dreams.

We'll make growing old together look so good.

Someday, someone will walk into your life and make you realize exactly why it never worked out with anyone else.

I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh, but I never knew looking back on the laughs would make me cry.

There's always hope. Remember that.

It's hard to wait around for something you know may never happen, but it's even harder when you know it's everything you want.

You miss people.. Not enough to want them back in your life, sometimes just enough to hurt.

You won't be his first, his last, or his only. He's loved before, he will love again, but if he loves you now, what else matters? He's not perfect, and neither are you, and the two of you will never be totally right, but if he makes you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and admits to being only human and making mistakes, hold onto him. Give him all you've got. He's not going to quote poetry, he won't think of you every moment, but he'll give you a part of him that he knows you can hurt. Don't hurt him, don't change him, and don't expect too much from him. Smile when he makes you happy, cry when he makes you sad, and miss him when he's not there. It's what love's all about.
